UCRSEA Policy Forum – Linking Research & Practice to Policy
In collaboration with Chulalongkorn University, UCRSEA is organizing a Policy Forum on May 22nd in Bangkok in conjunction with the Final Annual Workshop. With the theme: “What would it take for cities in Southeast Asia to become more sustainable, inclusive, equitable and resilient?”, participants are expected to find the answer, with dialogue grounded in recent evidence from cases around the region.
The forum brings together multidisciplinary researchers, international and local practitioners, and decisionmakers in research, practice and policy to help them better understand the complexities of urban climate resilience and identify their roles in addressing key challenges. With their rich and diverse knowledge and experiences, this event will generate new knowledge about the realities of urban climate resilience, focusing specifically on urban governance challenges, roles of the civil society and opportunities to address these problems.
